Why is my data collected?
We use the data provided by you that is required for the fulfilment and processing of the offers requested by you and the agreements made with you in accordance with Art. 6 Para. Personal data is transferred to the relevant service providers in corresponding third countries for the purpose of fulfilling the travel contract.
What data is collected and what happens to it?
Personal data such as surname, first name, street and house number, postcode, place of residence, date of birth, language, nationality, gender, e-mail address, telephone numbers or allergies or food preferences are only stored by us if their details are required and necessary for the provision of the requested services. This occurs when you request an offer from us, wish to obtain information about our products via our contact forms, order a catalogue, subscribe to our newsletter or book a trip.
Where is my data processed?
Your data is processed by Sprachcaffe in the EU. To the extent permitted by law, data processing also takes place in other European countries. The transfer of personal data to the corresponding service providers (e.g. airlines, language schools, host families, insurances, hotel operators or supervisors) in corresponding third countries is necessary in order to fulfil the contractual agreements made with you.
Will my data be passed on to third parties?
If you have decided to make a booking with Sprachcaffe, your data will be passed on to the necessary service providers such as airlines, language schools, host families, insurance companies, hotel operators or supervisors as well as to units within the Sprachcaffe organisation. We also pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for sending documents, emails or catalogues. For the processing of payments, we pass on the payment data required for this to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you in the order process.
Can I receive information about my stored data?
You can request information free of charge about the scope, origin and recipients of the stored personal data as well as the purpose of the storage, and you can also request the correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your data. Please send your request in writing to our address below.
How long will my data be stored?
Your data will be stored in accordance with the travel, tax and commercial regulations of the legislator. This is done in order to be able to check any claims filed by third parties and to comply with disclosure obligations.
What is "conversion tracking" and how is it used?
If you have reached our website via a Google ad, an affiliate ad or an e-mail, Google AdWords will store a cookie on your computer. It is not possible to draw any conclusions about your person.
The information collected with the help of the conversion cookie is used to compile statistics about our conversion rate. This means that we learn how many users have come from a Google ad, an affiliate ad or via an email and have taken up an offer from Sprachcaffe via our website.
