Conditions of participation for the SIELE exam

1. Registration for the exam is binding. Registration is only effective upon receipt of the examination fee.
2. The exam fee must be paid by the registration deadline specified in each case. After receipt of payment, you will receive confirmation of your registration by e-mail.
3. The agreed examination date cannot be postponed by the participant. If you are unable to attend due to illness, you can postpone the date for a processing fee of EUR 50. We ask you to present a medical certificate.
4. Before the examination date, the participant must identify himself/herself with his/her identity card or passport. We would like to point out that we will check the identity of participants carefully during the ID check and will always involve the police in the event of justified suspicion of identity falsification.
5. Mobile phones and other means of communication must be handed over to the supervising person before the check.
6. Please ensure that you arrive on time for the exam. If you are late, regardless of the reason, you will not be able to take the exam and the exam fee will not be refunded.
7. The current examination regulations for the SIELE exam apply and you undertake to comply with them when you register. These can be found on the official SIELE website at www.siele.org/condiciones-compra (contractual conditions). Please pay particular attention to the sections on unauthorised aids and cheating.
8. When the examination results are available, you will receive information from us by e-mail. The certificates can then be collected during our office hours. Please remember that you will need to identify yourself when collecting your certificate. If you would like the certificate to be sent to you by post, please leave a flat-rate postage fee of €6 on the day of the exam (postage within Germany, abroad on request) and the postal address to which the certificate should be sent.
9. We reserve the right to cancel the exam in justified exceptional cases. In such cases, we will refund the exam fee. We cannot recognise any further claims.
